Bit of a ramble from a long-time videoblogger, but an interesting personal moment captured nevertheless and a look at a vlog I first watched many years ago.
PubDef.net – St. Louis Politics
An interesting story where YouTube took down videos in response to complaints of copyright infringement by a TV station. The first video removed and about which the complaint was made was a story about that very TV station and their failure to follow up a story involving political corruption. AfricaNews – Mobile reporters in Africa – Videos
Mobile phone video used for reporting in Africa. This is really interesting (well to me at least, given my thesis on wee videos). The quality of the small videos is excellent. I came across this in the Rocketboom episode of Wednesday September 5th.
Belfast Today – Entertainment – The Duke does it again at inspired Empire gig
The Factotum choir mentioned in this review and called eccentric is the choir I’ve just joined. I wasn’t at the performance though as I was in London last week with work. boo.
Josh Leo’s Vlog » Wedding Festivities
A wedding vlog. I’ll have to make my own at some point, though knowing me it will take about a year. It’s weird that they had a whole rehearsal for this wedding. I guess that’s normal in America, but it seems really peculiar to be doing all the things for a practise. Then again perhaps I wouldn’t have been so nervous if I’d had any idea what was going to happen when I got to the church.
