The London freesheets and the web – Part 2: Films and Celebs – currybetdotnet – 21 September, 2007

Martin Belam is doing a series of posts about the use of User Generated Content (should that even have caps? I doubt it) in the London Freesheets. This one is about movie reviews. It’s a fascinating topic because these newspapers are like a weird kind of community trash – they litter Tube seats and pavements all over the city and yet because they are everywhere they get read a lot and I imagine (as I don’t actually live in London, just visit relatively often) contribute a lot to the sense of commununal being in the city.
