My friend Anne manages an Oxfam bookshop in Dublin and she had the idea to have bands play there on Saturday afternoons. I made it to one where a friend of ours Karl Stanley was playing with two musicial pals of his. They were really awesome. The girl singer (whose name I am trying to find out) was just fantastic doing all scat-like stuff in this really pretty voice – gorgeous.
